'Cancel Order' button

  1. I noticed whilst looking through the options on the site that there is no 'Cancel Order' button.
I think there should be the ability to cancel the order up until the point it enters build stage via the website.

I believe the best place to put it would be along the options included when you click 'Show Order':

The button should operate in the following manner:

Display a confirmation that you wish to cancel your order and that this is not reversible.
  2. Request an automated refund for the invoice cost or invoice cost +/- amendments made (if possible)
Note: If the order has been paid through by Finance perhaps this can not appear for these customers as I understand refunds may be handled differently in this instance.

There is a whole page dedicated to your rights to cancel and what to do:

you can cancel anytime from placing the order through to 14 days after receipt of the order.

If you do want to cancel, it suggests completing the RMA cancel option - i havent looked to see if this is ready if the order has not been completed yet, but there are other options and all clearly stated on the website on what to do.

And I'm sure you would find them in the T&C's that you have to confirm you've read when you place the order.........

This section of the forum is called 'Website & Forum Feedback/Suggestions'
I'm well aware of the Cancel/Complaints section (the RMA form doesn't appear unless the item has dispatched) and the terms and conditions/cancellation process. however a button that links to a form with a minimum dataset is probably easier to process than an email or letter.
Apologies - when accessing via Tapatalk, I missed what forum you had posted in and thought I was being helpful in pointing you in the right direction.

Good suggestion then to maybe at least put a link to the right to cancel at the bottom of the sales order page as a green button or as you say to the RMA ticket perhaps.

I get where you are coming from, but this forum isnt actually run by PCS, this section is for suggestions relating to this forum and not the PCS business site. They are totally separate entities

Well it is run by them, so they will see this suggestion but sometimes it can take a while for it to be seen as I don't know how often they get the time to check (especially with the NVidia malarky at the mo).
Yes the forums and main website are different (with different logins) but both run by the same company (PCS) and both under the pcspecialist.co.uk domain

I've utilised the special moderator pigeon post supported super carrier, low latency, high bandwidth, back-channel to pass this up to PCS. Whether they do anything about it is up to them of course, but at least now they know. :)

Every time @ubuysa mentions the moderator message ability, I always have a picture in my head of him standing outside the PCS office throwing stones at the window to try and get their attention [emoji23]
Now THAT'S a good idea. Next time.....

The truth is, we have a special email address. [emoji4]

I've had a reply from the (extremely busy!) customer services manager at PCS, it says this....

I will pass the feedback to our web team, unable to confirm if this will be implemented or not, as our default procedure is to email us. We filter the emails automatically, so they can be prioritised, but as always, great feedback.

At least PCS have received your suggestion @Mask3d. :)
