cannot register my laptop

hi, i bought a second hand pcspecialist laptop in december and not happy. ive tried to register this laptop with them but there having none of it. even the owner who had bought the laptop from these guys cannot transfer the details. i need it upgrading and there the ones to do it but it seems they wont let me register this as 1 of there laptops so any advice guys.....

Unfortunately the only pepole who can help you with your issue is pcs themselves

they have all my details and wont even message me back as ive been sending them emails for the last 4 weeks and nothing.

I could be wrong but I do not believe anyone supports 2nd hand used products.

I recall @Rakk saying on an older thread that it is possible for ownership to be transferred to a new party but the original owner has to be the one to do so in order to make sure it’s all legitimate and the laptop isn’t stolen.

So it looks as though it’s in the hands of the person you bought it from.

The registered owner is the only one who can transfer ownership and warranty I believe, I think its so it cant have any warranty if its stolen.

You could try calling PCS and explaining, not sure if they'll do anything though as you're not technically the registered owner

So the previouse buyer logged into his account and transferred it to you ?

The previous registered owner has to initiate the transfer, you cannot

Me too - I was in the middle of putting my little guide together LOL and then said it couldnt find thread...so Ive now posted it as a guide and linked it above.

There is nothing that anyone on here can do to help you. The ONLY person who can resolve this is the original owner - they have to transfer ownership to you and only they can do that. If they say they have and PCS say they haven't then it's clear that they haven't.
