Can't connect to internet on a working wifi

I suddenly have a problem with my desktop. On Sunday Morning it stopped being connected to internet
All my other devices connect to it with no problem
Wifi is connected but it shows as no internet
When I try to connect to it comes up as can't find DNS and then says I'm not connected to internet
I have tried swapping wireless adapter but it is the same
I am currently sending this message on a laptop right by by desktop which works fine
I have tried to attach my Application and System files. but says it does not recognise the files and won't let me send them There is no dmp files in Kernal as you have requested in other posts

Hi

I seemed to have cured it
I pressed F2 looking for safe mode to see if that could help but it wasn't in there so didn't change anything just saved and got out and it now works
Weird!!
