Good spot, yes Manjaro, been using that as main OS for a while now and very happy with it.

is manjaro easily breakable? I.e. I hear its a rolling bleeding edge OS and as such gets the latest updates which may break it, is this correct or is it more stable.

At the moment I am finding it more stale than Ubuntu. There are daily updates but a lot are only a few packages. Nothing has gone wrong in the two months I have used it regularly.
