My charging port isn't working as it should be. I can leave my laptop on charge when I am not using it and I now have a 50-50 chance of the battery gaining charge. Is this covered under the warranty? If yes, how do I claim on the warranty?
@BenC if its a hardware issue there won't be much anyone other than PCS can do (appreciate you know that already ) - Maybe others here would be more willing but I'd be hesitant to suggest much to try really -
Does the power plug/socket connection seem solid still or is there excessive play in it? If its wobbly, could be a hardware thing as noted and might need replacing.
If you plug it in does it show as being plugged in all the time or does it sometimes still show as running on battery?
PCS will potentially have further troubleshooting you can do or will perhaps simply give you a RMA number to return the laptop.
