Welcome to the forum. It would be good if you could also provide the budget for the PC, the monitor you plan on using (ideally precise model but resolution and frequency if not), and the configuration link so that other members can edit your specification.

From an initial look that, your spec could do with some work. The CPU is 2 generations old, the PSU too small and the storage could be tweaked.

Heya! Am I correct in saying that monitor is a 1080p 60hz monitor? If so I'd highly recommend an upgrade. With your budget, there's a couple of options we have.

1) We pick out a PC and monitor within your £1600
2) We spec up a PC for £1600 then in the near future (6 months or so) you pick up a suitable monitor to go with it
3) We spec a build that's appropriate for the monitor you currently have

It also looks like you've taken a pre-selected spec and made some changes so you'll have to provide a custom link so we can get all the correct info. How to do this can be found here.

Also is this a PC you've already purchased?

Brilliant, thanks! Build wise, the below is what I'd recommend. Currently I'd go with an AMD build, although worth noting that Intel have just released their lower tier 12th gen CPU's (12400) but we are waiting on more appropriate motherboards so might be worth waiting for those and weighing up your options before putting in an order.

Monitor wise, the 3060TI would pair nicely with a 1440p 144hz monitor, these are currently about ~£340ish although once you have the cash, feel free to come back and we can recommend you a couple that would be fitting for the build.

Case
CORSAIR iCUE 220T RGB AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE The TG is a nice looking case although with the front panel the airflow won't be the best. I've gone for the 220T which is a solid choice. If you want to send in a white one you have a couple of options: Corsair 220T, 4000D, 4000X, Cooler Master TD500 Mesh, Lian Li Lancool II Mesh
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core CPU (3.7GHz-4.6GHz/35MB CACHE/AM4) Ample CPU for gaming
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WiFi (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! All the motherboard you'll need
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR Great card in the budget, ideal for a 1440p 144hz screen
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3000MB/sR | 1600MB/sW) Smaller and faster boot SSD
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) Dedicated games drive
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET higher quality and wattage system that'll allow the PC to run more efficently and quietly. 750W will allow for some future upgradability
Power Cable
1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER Perfectly fine for the 5600X, I'd recommend the CM 212 or PCS FF100 if you wanted a tower cooler
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
USB/Thunderbolt Options

Sorry, I meant the build that @JUNI0R suggested, was there anything wrong with that recommendation? You've enquired for advice on the same specs you first posted about?

Hi, I'm trying to decide which case to use and I'm going for a white one however out of these two which one would you recommend? Any opinions on these two cases in general?

PCS SPECTRUM RGB MID TOWER CASE

PCS PRISM TG WHITE ARGB MID TOWER CASE

Both are kind of OK; neither is amazing. The Spectrum has good airflow but is noisy; I don't know how noisy the Prism is, but I doubt it will offer good airflow. If I wanted a white case, I'd be doing the "send in your own case" option.

Could you post your full build? It's best to give advice on a full build, and maybe we could recommend a case that would suit it.

Budget around £1550, a couple of low-key games and the monitor is a hp 75hz 27fwa (sorry i couldnt find all the specific details of it)

Super. That's not really a gaming display because it's quite a low refresh rate, but for casual gaming it will do a perfectly adequate job. And it does mean you don't need a terribly demanding build to power the display.

So I'd suggest the best white case available as the Corsair 4000X, which you can buy for about £100 on Amazon. It's both pretty and decent in terms of airflow, so it's a good bet for your needs.

I'd then change your build to an Intel 12th generation one:
