I bought the baby one first frenchy by mistake came i was like "wtf is that its tiny" sent it back and got the alpha. The massive one not just the oversized but the xxl for 3 pound more than the baby and jack the lycosa is fine for my needs and its half the price of the blackwidow and the only difference is its not mechanical. I have 2 other keyboards that havent worn out yet so i dont really see the point in mech at this time not till they become the norm and drop in price anyway the only time ive destroyed a keyboard was dropping my coffee on one, but ive serviced the 2 i have twice in the 5 years ive had them and the keys work perfectly.

Yeah mines the alpha, its like 40cm by 30cm or something stupid liek tht lol, I nearly went for the rerally long one.

i saw that one but i couldnt see a point unless you have mouse tracking across all 3 of your screens but at twice the price of the alpha i dont see why you dont get another alpha and sew em together to make an absolute monster :p also the lycosa is good for fps if your a weapon switcher like myself you can carry on running and getting a almost fully auto bolt action rifle, which i dont belive is possible on the BW.

why do you say it not possible on BW? i use my macro keys for all sorts, including rapid fire on pistol when I go into last stand lol. Also not sure about the lycosa, but you can make any key on the keyboard a macro key, so for example if i really wanted to i could make the j key just another n key lol

yer but some of the higher ranked shooter servers dont allow macros from my own personal experiences so its always safer to have speedy fingers and in the BW`s case i find mech keyboards to stiff of the ones ive used, to be able to swap between weapons smoothly a misskey can end it for you in a fps ranked match there are many cons to using this tactic and double tapping a key will kill you everytime, its a risky tactic but when you get it right your almost undefeatable.

Mech keys on the blackwidow aree extrenmely sensitive to the touch, never had a missed key, ever. Also I dont see how they can check for macros, theyre not software macros, theyre macros programmed in the keyboard itself, it cant knwo the difference between me pressing the key fast or the macro buttoin doing it.

i dont really have a clue ive never had a keyboard with built in macro options ive always had to use software and also ive never used a blackwidow on some trust mech keyboard and as i said the keys were very stiff but still im used to normal keyboards and wouldnt be willing to pay double the price for a mech keyboard when as i said i have 2 generic multimedia keyboards and neither has failed in the years ive owned them only needed cleaning ill keep to the lycosa its fine for me and its the most ive spent on a keyboard so it will seem posh anyway.

The lycosa is a brilliant keyboard, some would argue its better than the BW Ultimate. To be honest the main probelms I see with the BW is a) its very loud because its a mechanical keyboard. and b) as it uses a usb connection it doesnt support certain combinations of key presses which can be frustrating for RPG players, not that it affects me cus im rubbish on those games lol.

I play mmorpgs and t desnnt really bother me. I fiind that macroos subsiitiute thaat issue. I als like the sound

Ignore my weird spellings as mmy phone keyboard is messing up
