Checking out a Gaming Laptop specs

Hello, french user here but I speak English fluently, and it looks like I'm much more likely to have answers here than the French forum(given the traffic and the fact that PcSpecialist is a UK-company).

I wish to buy a gaming computer with some good specs to upgrade from my Lenovo Y520 (i5-7500HQ, GTX 1050ti). Using the website config I have made what seem most likely to work for me.

If the specs in French bother you, look for this thread : https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/new-laptop-review-vortex-ix.64836/#top
I have browsed it to check out my choices and its feedback has proven very useful. It's the same as my config except for RAM, SSD's choice (not available) and for System/Keyboard language.

I also have a few questions

1. Can this RAM that I have fit for the Vortex? Crucial CT2K16G4SFD8266 32Go Kit (16Go x2) (DDR4, 2666 MT/s, PC4-21300, Dual Rank x8, SODIMM, 260-Pin) Mémoire
(https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B071H38422?ref_=pe_3044141_327483011_E_304_dt_1)
From what I learned 32 gb is overkill but well, I got it. Does it fit?

2. Since the laptop is assembled, does that means the GPU or CPU can be upgraded in later years? (as brand laptop usually have soldered parts)

3. Does the laptop have a 'quiet' mode outside of gaming, for the fan?

4. Where do I order afterward, on the french website or UK, given I speak both language and I am in France. Or it doesn't matter?

It may be worth adding I intend to keep it for at least 4-5 years if possible. I'm going to have others financial commitments in the upcoming years so I'd like a good quality laptop.

I can only answer for question number 2: I believe that you cannot upgrade the GPU, it is soldered in. the CPU might be possible, but it isn't something I'd plan on - it would depend on several factors, not least the size/shape of the physical cavity available, the limitations of the bios etc.

We love you Ukraine
all CPU's are socket dependent. Intel are a lot more cruel in the upgradeability where normally the next set of processors is under a different socket layout and so you can't upgrade them to the newer chips.

AMD are a lot more lenient with this and often have several generations using the same socket.
