COMPLAINT - WILL NEVER DEAL WITH PC SPECIALISIT EVER AGAIN

My order number is 1638295 and my RMA is 84581. I called on 30 DEC to ask for my laptop to be repaired, they arranged for my laptop to be picked up only late in the evening of 5 JAN and I got a message from them that they received it only on 10 JAN. Two wasted weeks before they even started the process. Since then I keep calling for an update and they say my laptop is in queue. On Friday 14 JAN I called and they said it would be sent back to me next week. Yesterday, 18 JAN in the morning I called again and asked for an update, the PC Specialist person I spoke with proceeded to dispatch my laptop without it being repaired. I got an e-mail that they will dispatch the laptop unrepaired. I called back 4-5 times since then and every person I speak with assures me they will fix the issue and they will not send back the laptop withoutit being repaired, still when I call again to ask for an update they revert to the instructions that the customer service representative I spoke with yesterday morning gave them and they say that the update is that the laptop will be dispatched unrepaired. This has been handled so poorly, I am immensly frustrated and clearly will not order from them again, let alone send my laptop for repairs to them ever again.

These forums are ran and frequented by PCS customers and enthusiasts not PCS themselves. If you want to make an official complaint you need to email PCS directly on [email protected] with "Official Complaint" in the subject line.

Also a word of note. No matter how frustrated you are namecalling is pretty offensive and definitely not constructive. These people haven't woken up that morning with the intention of ruining your day.

I am not surprised it took two weeks for your laptop to be picked up for repair as you called them in the middle of their busiest time of year which this year also happened to coincide with the Omicron wave hitting.

This is fairly standard right now across the board. I had an RMA with an extremely well known laptop manufacturer who is much bigger than PCS just before Christmas and it took them a month to sort out.

That being said there is clearly some miss communication going on with your RMA so I would suggest you very calmly call them and try to work it out.

I'm sorry you have experienced a bad situation and responses - such a shame as usually things go quite smoothly for everyone and its rare we see someone having to publicly cry out in the forums lately.

Is your laptop still under warranty? What was wrong with it and what are your specs.

Can I suggest you escalate your complaint via PCS directly - details can be found lower down on this page:


as the moderators on here etc are not employees but volunteers so do not work for PCS directly and are unable to access any of your details to look into this for you (although sometimes a PCS employee does pop in every now and again - it would be better you sent your complaint as per instructions on that page).

As suggested above, this forum isn't for PCS complaints or anything officially PCS related. It's for enthusiast and volunteer support for PCS customers. If you want official support or to make official enquiries/complaints it needs to be done through the official channels.

I feel for your situation so I'm happy to cut you a little slack with your frustration but you are breaching the forum rules by giving a non-factual opinion of your situation. You are describing how you perceive everything using frustration to bad-mouth others who are not here to give their side of it. I have edited your post to take out the childish and derogatory name calling. Please refrain from continuing in this vein on this forum or you will end up with a warning and potentially banned from the forum.

Now, with the official side of things dealt with. What is the actual issue with your laptop? Perhaps we can help. It's a little more 1-1 on here and it can sometimes be easier to route out issues using the hive mind..... which can then be directed to PCS for them to be able to target and solve your issue.

As above, noone puts their clothes on and goes to work to do a bad job. How you articulate yourself can often be directly related to the help you receive.
