Complications with order

Just wondering about an order I made 8 days ago. It's in the pre-production phase and I was informed that some parts weren't in stock, the case was overdue from a delivery on the 30th. I thought I would have my PC by next week, i've now been informed that the next delivery of the case will be on the 30th of January. Does the delivery really take that long? is there no way to speed it up? and if I change the case to one which could be in stock, will the order continue and not take 2 months?

Thanks for reading :)

Sometimes unfortunately, components get delayed coming from the manufacturers and PCS will not be able to affect that at all :( (though the end of Jan does seem a long way away)

But yes, if you change to another case (that is in stock), the order should continue on its merry way and hopefully be with you soon.

Oh, one question, is there anyway to check stock? thinking if I got the coolermaster cm690, it costs more and if there's no stock of that either, it seems pointless to change. Or possibly contact PC specialist about stock?

OR you could order the case yourself off amazon for example have it delivered to pcs, I'm sure they will be happy to build it for ya.

edit what case is it?

HAF 912+, I was gonna change it to the cm 690 ii instead, only £10 more I think, worth it if I can get my PC faster :)

Also, would I be able to ask, on the forums, whether PCS has stock of the cm690? or do they not answer questions like that?

I couldn't tell you if pcs have any in stock, as I don't work for pcs. But the cm690 is a very good choice, click here for the official coolermaster site and info on the case.

If you go to the configurator and spec up your PC with the new case, if it will let you fast track it then everything is currently in stock. Obviously though, things can change between now and when your PC actually gets built.

The reason why you got that email is because we placed another order with Coolermaster for delivery in January and at that time we emailed you we hadn't got any on order due in faster from local suppliers. In actual reality some stock will land to us in the next few days, so if you want to keep that case you can change back. :)
