Computer l won't start

Hi there! Hope someone can help

My pc was fine last night

Today I get home from work and press to start up and it boots up and beeps and then the bios screen loads and then a funny noise happens like a cricket and then it restarts itself and continues on a loop of starting up and gets to the cricket noise and turns off

My pc is only 4 years old!

It looks clean inside!

I have disconnected the cables and turned off power source!

And I have no idea what's going on

Please help

Sounds like hard drive to me too. Try booting from a DVD, the Windows install disk would be ideal. If that works and you can navigate around the install/repair media then it's likely your PC is fine and it's just a hard disk failure. Whilst you have the Windows DVD running you might try the Startup Repair option, if it works and the PC starts then back up everything!
