Hi guys,

Just after some opinoins on what is better; Corsair H60 & Fan controller or Corsair H80? I would like to know the noise factor and what cools better? (What allows bigger overclocks etc)

Thanks,
Simrid

well the corsair h60 is pretty much the same as the h80, apart from a very minor things.

- H80 (also known as coolit fatboy) is much thicker and comes with two fans in push pull.
- h60 (coolit eco II) is just a normal rad with a single fan.

You should read this mate - http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2664

Also, why do you say h60 plus a fan controller? You don't need a fan controller alongside a cpu cooler, unless you know what you are doing. Its much better to leave the CPU_fan/s to regulate its own speed.

Hmmm, not sure which to get then? I mean the case i'm getting will have enough room, so what's the final verdict? :)

looking at your specs in ya sig, you have a it 2400, non K, so with either cooler you cant overclock, well if you did it would likely cause the damage to the CPU. I thought of Overclockin my 2600 non K, but when I looked into its, its really not a good idea. So dont lol.

Cooling wise, I'd personally go for the h80, but use a good thermal paste (not the standard paste that is used) and I'd change the fans to match the theme of my case.
