Corsair H60 with i7-8700 (non K)

Hi everyone,

I currently have i5-8400 but I got an opportunity to upgrade to i7-8700,

I already have H60 AIO but I was wondering if it is sufficient for i7-8700 non K version.

Could you help please?

It's sufficient for any of those CPUs, -K or otherwise, at stock speeds.

But by upgrade from an i5 8400 to an 8700(k) ?

If someone's giving it to for free, then ofc. But unless you're doing something that would really benefit from hyperthreading, it's almost certainly not worth spending money on it. Certainly not for gaming.

Spending £200 on an i5 only to replace it with a £350 i7 a few weeks later is bad value.
