Battery life: approx 1.5-2 hours with ~30% brightness and keyboard backlight on highest brightness. Running linux mint cinnamon under casual use.
Chassis/body: plastic- prone to show fingerprints but not difficult to clean as it is smooth and not textured.
Operating system: functions well with linux mint cinnamon after updating kernal to solve wifi driver issue and a beginner-friendly driver fix for the multi-colour function of the keyboard.

With the spec I selected I would reccomend this laptop however I would also suggest buying a spare battery or two if it is within budget.
