Cosmos VIII won't boot

I've had my Cosmos VII since late September / early October 2019.

Just today I noticed that it won't boot, not even to the BIOS.
Instead the power button and keyboard backlight are blinking periodically (every couple of seconds).
Also, the power LED at the front of the laptop is blinking green.

I'm not sure what's caused this or how to fix it.
Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Try booting on the battery alone and then try booting with the battery out and on mains power alone. Will it boot in either of those two states?

It's also worth doing a soft reset. Remove the battery and mains power and hold the ON button down for about 60 seconds. Nothing exciting will happen. See whether that helps?

I tried your suggestions but it still won't boot.

I just had this problem with my Cosmos VII too, which I've had since early-ish 2018.

It's being collected today for return to PCspecialist.

Do you know what your problem cause was yet?
