Could somebody tell me if there are any parts that i hould change or upgrade/downgrade as this is my first build

- I only have another £50 of leeway so i cant afford anything much more expensive.
- Also would I be any better off going for an Intel CPU over an AMD? if so which one.

AMD is a better choice in most areas, most notably security (Intel are regularly finding flaws that need patching resulting in decreased performance.

Am assuming this is a gaming PC? Any others uses to take into account? Editing? Streaming? etc

Going on it being a gaming system:

Case
FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window) - Much better airflow..best budget case around
Processor (CPU)

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.2GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4) - The X version is not worth the extra money for the small performance gains
Motherboard

ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! - The 550 is plenty for your needs and the 550 is easily able to take the next generation of CPUs when round if needed; the 450 boards it is not such an easy fit
Memory (RAM)

16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!
1st Storage Drive
1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 64MB CACHE
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W) - Increased capacity as 256 will fill up quick once you add a few games on it
Power Supply

CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET - Much better PSU, it is quieter and less wiring to interrupt airflow
Power Cable

1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER - Removed as the 3600 doesn't need a different cooler..the stock one works fine
Thermal Paste

STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
LED Lighting
50cm RGB LED Strip
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Wireless/Wired Networking
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0 - Forgot this..can be removed to save £18

The good thing about this is that, if you wanted to upgrade to 1440p gaming in future, you could just buy a better graphics card, plug it in and away you go on an appropriate monitor

thanks a lot for the advice, I am mainly going to be using this for gaming but may occasionally stream.

Yes, all cable management is fully done and very good.
Thank god, I just looked inside my friends PC that he had sent from a different website (I’m not sure of the name) and it was pretty bad, like he needed to put in more ram and couldn’t even get into it without unplugging almost all of the wires as event then it was still a squeeze.

That's really poor, if I were him I would have sent it back.

No, PCS take cable management very seriously and almost always do a stellar job. Occasionally something may become dislodged in transit, like for instance recently an RGB strip unpeeled from the chassis in transit, but the user just pressed it back into place.
