Thank you for reading and hello ^^

I tried to design a sub £750 rig that has future proof-ness (is that a word??) i eventually settled with the following specs

Motherboard ASUS® M4A79XTD EVO: DUAL DDR3, S-ATA II, 2 x PCIe x16, 2 x PCIe x1, 2 x PCI

2nd DVD/BLU-RAY Drive Use one i have at home

Thanks for the feedback, i'm relatively new to designing computers and could use a bit of help, again thanks

Edit: Im quite an avid gamer, so it needs to run games such as starcraft, AOE, Settlers 7, crysis, Call of Duty MW, and Stronghold 3 (eventually :D) smoothly. I will be using a
Samsung SyncMaster 245T Widescreen LCD Monitor.

Thank you for the quick replies

Hmm, that alternative is pretty tempting, i5 is pretty much on par with the phenom II 955 maybe a bit quicker compressing video etc, but how does the 460 compare to the 5570 crossfire

Well looking at this benchmark:

HD5570-32.jpg

The crossfire 5570 is beaten by the 9800 GT and the GTX 460 is considerably faster than the 9800GT, and supports DX11.
