Hello, I had an issue with PC Specialist.
I bought a PC 6 weeks ago, and it came to me with random bsods, RAM issues and everything. I ran the most basic ram test Windows memory diagnostic for 30 seconds and it said hardware issues. When sent back they said CPU issues were present they fixed it. Waited for a week. They replaced the CPU. I got the PC after that. The first app I opened I got blue screen like a joke. I ran the same test, and hardware issues were detected. I called them about it, and they said to re-install windows and run occt tests. Re-installed windows still the same issue Run occt test there was a 1000 error in 50 seconds of testing on the CPU. Sent pc back now but it cost me nearly 7 weeks of my time. I do not think they are doing any test which took me 1 minute of testing to see if something was wrong and no compensation for a 7-week delayed order is a very cheap move. Not happy with this company.
I would done a better job at testing this PC. They wasted my time and my effort and with no compansion which is unacceptable. If they don't manage to get it right this time definitely going for a refund

Can you post your full specs from the order page?

I take it you reseated the RAM to be sure it hadn't been dislodged in transit?

Ram slots 1,3 and 4 are faulty Ram works fine in 2 Tried to reseat and test Window mem diagnosis saying issues with 1,3 and 4. Advanced replacement didn't help. they have sent me new ones but did not work again. I said maybe motherboard issue after these tests they instead tested and isolated the CPU and replaced it but did not check if it was working :). when I received it 1000 reports when tested.

Here are the specs:
thank you for your reply.

But you reseated the RAM right after the RMA? RAM needs to be in certain slots in certain configurations, doesn't work in any slot.

Please don't make unfounded accusations, there's no call for it. PCS always put systems through stress tests.

You haven't posted the full specs either so we can't really comment. Did you order it with or without windows?

This was before the RMA when first got the PC, I believe I could not explain it properly.
When I first got the PC I had random bsods, even my Google Chrome was crashing and saying out of memory I ran memory tests and it said memory was not working. Contacted customer service they have sent the new rams got them in I tested everything like they asked.
Still, there were no improvements. I tested every slot every sequence like 1-3 or just one. I tested a normal motherboard ram configuration too if that's what you are talking about. IT agreed that It was maybe a motherboard issue. Sent it back to the RMA. They have tested it and said CPU was faulty they replaced it and send it back to me. I run the test again and both ram and CPU was faulty which explains still can be a motherboard issue. So you are saying they have missed this in overnight testing and I was able to get this error in 2 minutes of testing?

Yes, I ordered without windows, they installed a Windows 11 before sending it because they uploaded drives and such but it is not activatedç

You still haven’t answered my question? Have you reseated the RAM after the RMA?

So you are saying they have missed this in overnight testing and I was able to get this error in 2 minutes of testing?
I’m just asking you not to make unfounded accusations. The troubleshooting you’ve done to this point is not conclusive, windows memory tested is never used because it’s notoriously unreliable. It’s not a used tool.

Yes, I ordered without windows, they installed a Windows 11 before sending it because they uploaded drives and such but it is not activatedç
So there’s a lot of testing you could do before coming to the assumptions you’ve come to. I take it you’d clean installed your own windows before you tried installing any programs?

I just told you they have sent me new rams to test how would I be able to test them without reseating them?
I resated the old one I told you I did every sequence there is.

What you don't understand is it is not my job to test this pc I used occt which was suggested BY AN IT WHO WORKS IN PC SPECIALIST
They should have been sending a PC that is working the first time yes mistakes can happen but the second time was faulty as well.
I came on this conclusion by the test that have suggested and mailed me.

OCCT is a graphics tester, nothing to do with RAM, so I fail to see what relevance that has.

This forum is for troubleshooting issues, it's not for coming and moaning if you don't want to take steps to try and correct it without sending in for an RMA. Apologies if that's what you assumed, but none of us work for PCS, we're not in any way a customer service branch, we're hear for people to find solutions.

If you don't want to test it, that's fine, then send it for RMA. But issues do occur from transit, and the tests you've done so far don't conclusively prove the issue you're trying to prove.

First time I received the pc before the RMA first time I had this ram issue
mate occt test everything try to dowland and try.
You don't need to see the relevance someone from the IT does. I also did memtest86
and other CPU test recommended by IT.

The company has in fault here mate you need to accept that because even supervisors accepted that. I need to complain ofc I do I have waited over a 7 week period and I shipped and received in total 4 times. It was really inconvenient
you need to accept facts here and stop just being one sided.

As already stated, it's not what was done pre-rma that has any relevance, if you wanted we could troubleshoot the issue now. But that doesn't seem to be what you're looking for.

As already said, this forum is for troubleshooting and finding solutions, if that's not something you're looking to do, then it's not anything we can help with. You'd need to keep working with PCS.
