Get Rainbow Six Siege: Gold Edition with select NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs!

bought a little bit more than a year ago.

Hi, I noticed that lately games crash easily because cpu gets really hot always over 90 degrees celsius on heavy games..
when I put my hand on the left side (cpu side) of the pc, just little air comes out when is turning 100%, not like before that a lot of it came out .. even the one of the gpu (right side) comes out more
I opened the pc and obviously I noticed that there was a lot of dust but not having a PC vacuum cleaner I couldn't do much about it, I cleaned as much as I can (with cotton swabs lol) but the problem is not solved .. I'm desperate. do you have any advice?

any performance laptop takes regular maintenance to keep temperatures optimum.

If there's a build up of dust, then fans won't be able to operate normally.

Plus it will need repasting about once a year.

Also, windows needs to be configured correctly for cooling to be optimal.

It's very easy and something you'll be having to do regularly. There are loads of videos on youtube.

I would suggest diving in and learning
Wont void the warranty if I even remove the fans for repasting?
What if the fan is really broke?

Warranty allows for this, you couldn't maintain the laptop otherwise.

If the fan is broken you'd have to RMA but either way you wouldn't be able to tell without the normal maintenance.

Alright, I will tell you as soon as I'll have enough materials to do the maintenance and repasting
Thanks

Done! The paste was still fresh but ive change it anyway and omg how big are differences.. I was expecting something like -5°, but in reality the cpu went from having 95° to 75° on heaviest games. (Gpu temperatures havent changed that much 70-75 in average my problem was only cpu).

For who is interested: I used a air duster for removing dust (AABCOOLING)
and the thermal paste is Noctua NT-H1 3,5g

Fine work. Now if you’d be so good as to please head over to the thread linked below and leave your answer to help me update my stats log, that’d be much appreciated 👍
