Dead Battery

I have a asus notebook but the battery is dead.
I asked our local computer shop if they could fit a new one but they said you have to get them from Sweden, and they probably would not send one.
Does anyone know where in the uk I could get one, or if there is an alternative?

Not sure this is anything to do with PCspecialist is it?

But there are many Asus laptop batteries on ebay & some of them seem to be warehoused in UK. I have not bought any so I can't vouch for quality or safety, but I would have thought some of them look reasonable.

You could try the Asus forums. And ofc if its still under warranty, contact Asus.
