Dead Pixels

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a monitor from pc specialist.
Could you let me know the policy on dead pixels.
Also I believe an insurance against dead pixels can be purchased from pc specialist, could you point me in the right direction on the web site for this. Thanks

dont think the insurance is included with monitors, only laptops, i imagine they will probably have something on this if you phone up, most likely 1 year

As Wozza said the dead pixel guarantee is only available for laptops.
The amount of dead pixels at which you can get a replacement for monitors will generally depend on what the manufacturer of the monitor states

I've got a few dead pixels on the laptop that was delivered today - I bought the pixel protection for £19 so I'll let you know how I get on. Have sent an email requesting guidance on the situation.
