Hi all, just orderd a well needed new pc, im currently using a Dual core 1.7ghz laptop which is complete tits.

Just wondering how this setups ranks in the gaming world? I have a PS3, how does this compare? I know the processor and RAM isnt as good as it could be, but im on a budget, will this PC play the latest games?

If you've got XP+ I'd spend the money on windows on upgrading.

Providing you have a non-OEM copy (and assuming DELL even provided anything more than a recovery disc). Otherwise it won't work.

Nice setup, the HD6850 will be great for gaming. The weakest part of this PC is the CPU, but it's still very powerful.

The RAM is fine and the CPU isn't bad either but you should really upgrade to the coolermaster case and get the standard warranty.

The specification is fine, don't worry. At the end of the day you still have a Quad Core CPU, 4GB RAM and one of the newest graphics cards on the market - it'll have no problems playing games.

If you can afford, the Elite 310 would offer slightly better cooling but would advise to get the £5 Silver Warranty as Pheonix says - great value for money!
