Hello, can someone clarify the insurance on delivery as the configurator says that insurance is standard but after you click proceed it says you have to pay for insured delivery. Can someone clarify this for me please?

The 'Standard delivery' is insured, it would be worth posting a screenshot of what you're actually see, and what choices you've made in the configurator for delivery

That’s not delivery insurance, that’s insurance on the product itself after delivery. So you can protect it against theft or accidental damage up to a certain amount for a period of time.

It’s just like custom home insurance, most people won’t need it as their home insurance does exactly that.

The PCS Terms and Conditions make it clear that....
5.4 The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

That of course implies that until the PC has been accepted by you the risk is all with PCS. If the PC is lost or damaged then PCS will replace or repair it. No delivery insurance is required.

As @SpyderTracks says its not delivery insurance, its product insurance - It might also be that this is an additional warranty insurance on the product, not just insurance on loss and theft etc - you will have links to an IPID (Insurance Product Information Document) that should detail what that covers exactly and does not cover.
