Difference between 560 and 6990.

Was just wondering how much the performance increase the 6990 would have over the 560.

Ok, looks like I am gonna have to try a little harder. % wise, what is the difference. I realise the 6990 can probably max out every current game in 1080 but what is the 560m like?

Thank you very much, the 6990 is about 30-80% faster than the 560 - I think! Depending on the task, benchmark or game etc.

I would say around 50% if u can afford it u 100% should go for it if gaming is improtant too you.

I agree but this question was not because I was thinking of buying one, just so I know what i can tell people when helping them! Thank you for all the helpful comments, especially from Gorman!

There are also down sides ti the 6990M when comparing to the GTX560M, such as, the 6990 produces so much more heat and also typically has slightly worse driver support that than the nvidia cards. However as previously said it tends to have about +50% performance.

Yeah, I agree with you, I would personally get the 580 over the 6990, in my opnion, it is worth the extra money.
