Disconnecting Problem on TP-Link TL-WN822N 300MBPS High Gain Wireless N USB Adapter

Hi

I bought a TP-Link TL-WN822N 300MBPS High Gain Wireless N USB Adapter for my desktop PC, it keeps disconnecting from my wireless router and I have to re-enter the router password. Any ideas on how to fix it, and stop it disconnecting?

What type of USB port is it plugged into?

usb 3 port

Try the USB 2.0 ports

It tends to only happen when I'm use Skype. If it does it again I'll try and use the usb2 port instead.
