Display Port Cable recommendations

Evening.

I received my new PC yesterday (woohoo!!), but have yet to connect it all up because I need a Display Port cable for my monitor (boohoo!!).
My monitor is a Eizo ColorEdge CS2420 (currently connected via DVI) with the following connections...
Left to right: USB 3.0 upstream port (to control the monitor), Display Port, HDMI, DVI.

My new PC has an HDMI port which I can use, but searching through the forums I read that a Display Port cable would be better for a "gaming" PC. Is there anything such as "the best" cable to buy? If I get a Display Port to USB-C cable, would I still need to use the USB 3.0 upstream cable for the monitor? Or would it be better to get the Display Port to Display Port cable instead?

Here is my PC spec: -

Hiya, that's not a gaming monitor so wouldn't benefit from display port connection. An HDMI would be much the same.

your GPU doesn't have USB GRAPHICS (nor does any gaming pc)

the USB is simply pass through from the pc so you can plug devices into the monitor should you wish.

Perfect. I'll use the HDMI I already have and hopefully I'll get it all set up tomorrow.
Many thanks, you've been a great help on my questions, much appreciated!
