You'll need to contact the person who sold it to you and get them to transfer ownership on their PCS account.
There will be drivers PCS may be able to supply, but they wont without having the previous owner transfer it to you on their systems.

You should be able to get most from windows update, intels own website support for drivers etc and the rest would depnnd on actual spec so you can go to manufacturers sites, but you need to know exactly what youve bought.

As it's second hand you'd have to contact the seller and ask them to transfer warranty, you can then register it with PCS.

Without that I'm afraid you won't be able to get any drivers. TongFang don't have a public repository hosting drivers, they're only issued through System Integrators.

I'm afraid that's down to you and the seller, it's nothing we can help with, but without transferring ownership, you won't eligible for an account.

Tell him to log into his PCS account, theres a tab called "sold your PC" that he will need to go to, then select the machine he has sold and fill out the form it gives with new owners details (email, address, that kind of stuff)

It's all the basic drivers, windows won't find them all, it will apply generic drivers so you won't get full performance, plus you'll be missing control center which is the management driver, without that the cooling wont work properly and you'll miss loads of features of the laptop.

This is something that is beginning to concern me about PCS laptops. The fact that there is no public repository for drivers at PCS and that Tongfang does not have a public repository either. It is very difficult to find up to date drivers or bios updates when you have an issue, which can occur due to compatibility issues with Windows updates, or newer versions of Windows.

It's not exactly difficult just to contact PCS. It's not down to PCS, it's down to the manufacturer how drivers are distributed.

But you'll find a lot of manufacturers are now not posting public repositories to combat theft.

Your issue as well is expected as you're running the test windows which hasn't been configured. You will need to clean install your own copy as already advised.

I appreciate your help, but unfortunately this information does not alleviate my concern.

As I described in the thread I created, I have tested my issue on a fresh installation with drivers downloaded directly from PCS. (For reference, this relates to https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...-sleep-mode-then-fails-to-sleep-at-all.90245/)

As already explained in that thread, the issue is that you haven't properly configured windows, it's not an issue with the drivers.
