I'm planning to get a new laptop. And as I would need it for uni I asked one of my lecturers for some advise on spec. My initial spec was fine, but he said to ensure that the laptop was capable of dual booting.
I currently run my desktop as dual boot win7/ubuntu12.04 with secure boot disabled in uefi.
But to clarify, are there any issues running 8.1 dual boot on optimus v (going with 8.1 on basis its gonna get free upgrade to 10, which by windows bad/not-so-bad cycle might be OK.)
