DVI/HDMI adaptor

I purchased an HDMI/DVI adaptor for a few quid and when it arrived, I noticed one of the pins was not level with the rest. it's about 1 mm or so shorter than the others.

this is a pic of what I mean

the middle left pin of the group to the right is not at the same height as the rest. is this normal, or is it a faulty product? I've never had experience with DVI connections before so I don't know. I'm a bit dubious of plugging it into the back of my new pc when I get it in case the pin breaks off.

No idea, possibly because it isnt needed or something? Either that or the corresponding hole it slots into may not be so deep. Could be many a reason :p

well that's a relief, better to be safe than sorry though, especially when it's a piece of ££££ equipment at stake.

Couldn't agree more even if I tried - well actually I probably could but then that;d ruin the whole....oh wait.
