I bought a "Next Day" desktop PC from PC Specialist in February. I opted for the Eclipse I80S as it was the first Next Day system at the price point that had the RTX 4080 Super included. I ordered it on Friday, so expected delivery of it on the following Monday. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived the next day, Saturday. Packing was solid and the use of expanded foam in plastic bags to hold the components securely in transit was a neat idea, and easy to remove. The only thing lacking from the spec that I needed was an additional data drive, so having unpacked it and set it up I opened up the case to check there was room for a second NVMe drive to act as a data drive. I couldn't see where there was space, so contacted PCS support. They were extremely helpful and sent me a photo of the exact location, how to access it (needed to remove the 4080 support bracket) and how to fit it using the already supplied mounts and screws. I ordered the drive from them, even though I could find it slightly cheaper elsewhere.
I have to say that the case (Lumin ARGB mid tower) made things really easy, as both the glass front and side opened up fully, first time I have seen that. Inside everything was beautifully laid out and neat and tidy.
I would not pay extra money for LED lights, but all six fans were illuminated with ever changing colours, very nice touch.
Once up and running I loaded a few games, F1 2023, Sniper Elite 5, and Rise of The Tomb Raider, and ran them all maxed out on Ultra settings on my 4K HDR monitor (bought separately). Everything ran smoothly and loaded super quick. The only bloatware included was Norton antivirus trial and Microsoft 365, both of which I removed. The PC is very quiet most of the time, and only slightly noisier when running games for a long period.
Over the years I have bought a number of desktop and laptop PC's from PCS, having previously bought from a number of sources. So far I am very happy with the PC and with the support from PCS. Long may it continue.
