Hello!

I have always been a mac user so this is all quite new to me so would love to hear some advice.

Will mostly use this for Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects work and would love to be able to play the newest games on highest settings without lag? Would this be good enough or is it even overkill?

Also are the 3080 waiting times around a month currently or can they be more?

What's your monitor (resolution & refresh rate or make and model), budget & can you post the configuration link

Im thinking of getting the 32 inch 1440p 144hz Samsung G5, but probably will upgrade to something 4K in a year. My budged is around 3000 pounds for the computer itself and then around 700 for all the periferals.

Do you actually have a monitor now? If not, there isn't really anything available in the 4K 144Hz market right now, though various things may come soon. The best bet now is either an ultrawide 1440p (probably the LG 34GN850) or a very good colour-accurate IPS 1440p display (the best, I think, is the MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD).

If im honest I would take the opportunity to change your storage around while you want for your system to go into build.

I wouldn't recommend the PC as you have suggested it. There are definitely improvements that could be made. If you could post up the link it will make offering amendments much easier.
