Enable AHCI mode, worth it? [Vortex III, specs inside]

Hi, I've ordered a Vortex III with the following specs:

Chassis & Display
Vortex Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3740QM (2.70GHz) 6MB
Memory (RAM)
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 675MX - 4.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11
Memory - 1st Hard Disk
750GB SEAGATE MOMENTUS XT HYBRID, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB CACHE (7200 rpm)

It comes without OS and I am going to install windows 7 SP1 64-bit. I could enable AHCI mode from the bios prior the OS installation. What do you guys think? Would it be useful?

I would be interested in an answer also, since I have the exact same hybrid disk on my Vortex III Elite. I now that AHCI is a definite must for an SSD but what about the Momentus XT ?

SSD can perform better with AHCI mode but HDD do get more benefits due to the NCQ, which improves performances and reduces degradation. Anyway, I think I'll set up the AHCI mode as any review I was able to find of the momentus XT used such a mode. My laptop is due in tomorrow, in a couple of days I could be able to tell how it went. Let me know if you are interested.
