Ermm-sata?

Hello peepholes of the interwebs.

I bought a Cosmos II from PCS a few months ago and was wondering about the Msata port it has on it. I'm not a particularity "Tech Savvy" person but I think it relates to being a high speed port for SSD's but again I know nothing.

If a kind person can explain this to me I would be most appreciative and laden you with platitudes and superlatives.

mSATA is just mini-SATA - you are correct in that its mostly used for SSD's - essentially its the same as a normal SATA port just a bit smaller You'd need to get a SSD that supports mSATA if you wanted to use it.
