External HDD for gaming

Hi. Can anyone advise me on a HDD (4tb plus) that I could play games off. I do not mind reasonable loading times. I put my "current" game on SSD but its not huge. Other games I should like to put on HDD. Does not have to be portable in fact prefer a powered HDD. Specs are as follows.

Processor i5-8600K (3.6 GHz) 9 MB Cache.
Memory (RAM) 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2666MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 - HDMI, DP, DVI - VR Ready

I do NOT play multi player games over the net. I do play large open world games eg Skyrim, Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Kingdom come.

I am leaning towards a WD Black D10 8tb, but bit pricey. Has anyone got one of these and are using for games?

Any advice would be truly appreciated.

Bob

Many thanks for your reply. Do you play games direct off of these HDD's? I saw these on Amazon but there have been some very poor reviews recently.

No, not games off them, they're in a NAS but it's worth noting it's a busy one - it is used for backups, streaming media, Seafile (like a private Dropbox), newsreader software - the disks are in constant use.
