On mine too, some of the actual ingame footage is quality. I'm just hoping they don't ruin the physics dont want a GRID style F1 2010.

lucky man, I'd love to get inside codies for a peep.
I miss F1 for the PC hope they do it justice, its been along time since F1 99-02 Challenge and the previous EA/ISI attempts, they were OK back in the day just don't cut it anymore.

as a die hard F1 fan, this has been on my potential purchase list for some time. I am not totally bought on it yet, because F1 games, especially on consoles, have been generally poor due to devs concentrating on the graphics and totally neglecting what is just as much an important aspect, the physics.

even the holy grail of F1 games, geoff crammond's GP series had their faults, but compared to console versions, they were, and still are more playable.

if I do buy it, I will be steering well clear of the console versions. it will be a PC purchase for me, probably one of the earliest PC purchases I make after getting my new PCS built high end gaming rig.

I am going for the PC version, purely for the modding aspect, like with most motorsport games, I am expecting a dedicated modding community to spring up after its release. with console versions, you are stuck with whatever season they release.

Me too love the modding scene for rFactor, GTR2 and the other gMotor2 based games. I'm into track building for rfactor also but that is another story

the off track aspect of the game is a nice feature, and it looks to have been done well, but I just hope it's not been put in there and as a result, some of the more important aspects of the game have been overlooked.

as this game release gets closer and closer, I can't help but think that they have been putting less and less into the physics side of the game, and instead have been focusing on graphics and novelty bells & whistles.

the game does look stunning, but does it FEEL stunning to drive? they seriously need to release a demo, and from what I have read on a few forums, I don't think they are.

I can confirm that Codemasters will NOT be releasing a demo, we are going to have to wait and see what its like for our selves I am a little annoyed that there will be no demo as a good demo helps me to decide if I'll buy a game, but as I've said before I've pre-ordered my copy and just hope its as good as it should be if not then I'll return to rFactor and hold on till rFactor 2.

yeah, that's another thing that fills me with some trepidation. if a game developer has total faith in their game being all they bill it to be, they shouldn't have any issues with releasing a demo. I know there are some genres that don't lend themselves well to demos and those are excusable, but for a racing "sim" (term used loosely), there should be no problem with knocking a demo together. codemasters have done it themselves with grid & dirt, so there is no reason whatsoever as to why they can't release a demo for the upcoming F1 game other than they are trying to shield as much as it as possible from the prospective market.

if they had total faith in the game, they would have no problem giving potential purchasers a free taste test.

I have been reading that the game is only available on PC as a digital download, has anyone purchased it on PC and received a hard copy?

I'm a little disappointed to be honest, I don't mind downloading digitally, but I think it should be my choice as to what I download digitally, and what I buy as a traditional purchase.

this is a game I wanted to buy either online, or in store, on PC/DVD

did you get it on pc or console, and if on pc, was it a hard copy or digital and where did you purchase it?
