Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has any solutions.
My laptop fans sometimes stop running - or more like just run at an idling speed - even when things are getting hot. It seems to particularly happen if my battery has run down and I've just plugged in the charger. It doesn't seem to always happen, just every now and then and I haven't been able to notice a particular pattern to it. If I restart the machine, then the fans come back on and run normally. I've done some searching but all I can find are suggestions to clean the fans, which I've done recently anyway but that was more because they were getting really loud.
