What's your max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

1900 max and I've got a 24", 1920 x 1080, 1ms, radon free sync, its the LG 24GL600F, possibly looking to duel monitor also

That build is £1944 but I definitely do not want to go above
The monitor is going to bottleneck any modern system. To utilise that budget you'd be looking at 1440p Ultrawide or 4k 144Hz. 1080p is really a dead resolution only used in extreme budget builds, almost all GPU's are overpowered for it these days. It's really a very poor gaming experience in general.

We may be able to spec a 1440p 144hz build and factor in a new monitor if you're interested?

Would I be able to use that monitor for the mean time while maintaining the specs and buy a suitable monitor in another week or two?

If you would be able to scratch up a quick example of the sort of build and/or monitor you would recommend i would greatly appreciate it

For £1950 you would be able to build a decent gaming system and include a monitor

This thread is very much worth a read, wish I had seen it before I started the process of ordering my pc...I ended up cancelling and doing a new order when I did mine I was so out of date! https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/desktop-building-guide-may-2020.67892/

Its a thread put together by Scott (one of the mods) and got some really useful info to get people started on how to put a customer build together. Extract from it with some useful example builds:

Excellent Entry level 1080p £840* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/kFvQzcgWeh/
Excellent Mid-Level 1080p £924* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/j88KgdCpJ8/
Excellent High-level 1080p £1,107* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/5nk0xW5jpR/

Excellent Entry level 1440p £1,035* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/SeSjRrBJte/
Excellent Mid-Level 1440p £1,199* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/mXndDgqCNn/
Excellent High-Level 1440p & VR £1,467* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/ADRhFeEEGz/

Excellent Entry Level 4k £1,470* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/hUKjT7!WsF/
Excellent Mid-Level 4k & VR £1,668* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/nSFTUAPQrD/
Excellent High-Level 4k & VR £2,376* - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/Fru!2SQ3F4/

Note, all of the above are based on the same case and other varying options. The choices are limitless, it's purely to give reference to the sort of budgets that buy GOOD systems at their varying degrees of use. Professional use has to change again due to the variations with RAM/Storage/CPU. They all include a Windows license (£100 at the time of writing) and they all have a good Wifi card (£18).

If you were to put the whole budget into a 2080 Super build, you'd need around £600 for a monitor to pair with it.

I would be able to afford a monitor at that price a week or two after the initial purchase, of the system if it were to stay around 1900.

Then pair it with something like this on the monitor 1440 Ultrawide @ 100Hz:

Or 144Hz

Not sub par, it's just yours is a 1440p, whereas these are 1440 Ultrawides, very different monitors.

Having just taken ownership of a 1440p ultrawide thanks to you and @Nursemorph, I’ll definitely vouch for that statement. It’s absolutely brilliant. Only been using it for about ten hours but there’s no way I’d want to go back to a smaller screen after experiencing this 🙂👍

It is the ultimate for gaming, ultrawide or superwide, just soo immersive!
