Financing experience?

Hello!

Hopefully this is the right place to ask, everywhere else seems.. unsuitable?

Does anyone have any experiences with Novuna? What I've read on trustpilot makes me feel a bit cautious about using them. I understand the terms on the contract and all that jazz, my concern is that if I pay off my loan in 12 months, there will be a problem and they will still taking a bank payment which is what i've seen online, although it says to go through the customer support apparently that isnt any better...

Has anyone had any issues or run into any problems with Novuna and pcspecialist? Especially if you've paid your loan off in 12 months? I'd like to think they wouldnt pick a company that will screw their customers over but you never know!

Thanks in advance!

PCS are a very reputable company, they wouldn't use a financing company that was dodgy in any way.

As @stegor says, on any financing, you have full control over the direct debit and can cancel at any time. Obviously do this with the agreement of the lender and not before you've settled otherwise you'll incur charges.

But they won't bill you once the balance has been paid, that's not how credit agreements work. You sign all the paperwork and agree to the terms and conditions, they are under obligation to stick to that agreement as are you.

Novuna used to be called Hitachi Personal Finance when I used them. I had no problems at all with them back then and PCS have been using them for a very long time.

I've never had any issues with Hitachi in the past. I've never had any issues with any Finance company though.
