First ever gaming laptop.

Hi all,

So, long story shot. I was a PC gamer many moons ago and then due to circumstances moved over to console. Now i am looking to get back into decent graphics and loading times haha and don't have the space for a full PC set up. Looking for peoples thought/advice regarding the set up I've put together here, as i say I've been out the game for a while so all info is good info.

Just to clarify the laptop will be used solely for gaming the highest settings (Yum! ). Games will be things like WoW, SoT, DBD and Division 2 as a point of reference.

Do you have alternative storage available already? I would think a 250Gb SSD is going to fill up really fast.

Not sure what warranty you selected but I'd advise as a minimum the silver warranty to cover you for the first year (shipping wise) in case anything unforeseen occurs.

I got almost exactly the same thing. BUT with an m.2 SSD instead. Also got the highest frequency RAM. Also no mouse as I already have one

Amazing speed with a pretty display, woeful RGB (i don't care) and AMAZING thermal performance relative to other laptops out there. For some reason the Helios 300 gets 90°+ while playing games and I VERY rarely go past 80, vast majority of the time between 65 and 75°C really.

Crazy loud fans but I don't care. I have ANC headphones so gaming is a good experience.
