- Not a native english sorry in advance.

¥Ø, I'dl love to buy this configuration, it's for playing on a 3840x1660 monitor at least at 80fps (Alienware AW3821DW).
I've seen some bad opinions on web, maybe you can reassure me :
Is the watercoolong installation well done (here CPU + GPU) ?
Why the standard sound card is 5.1, because when I check specs (on this site and others) it shows 7.1 _ROG SupremFX 7.1 HD audio_ ? Is it a bad display when you need to choose ?

Finally for usuals costomers :
In general, are you satisfied by what PcS has to offer by means results, packaging (I live in Reunion Island, such a long travel for a package), and so forth ?

Thanks for reading sirs, have a nice day :)

Hi there! PCS PC's are generally built to a very high standard and I've only ever seen one custom loop build with a leak issue. That said, is there a reason you want a custom loop? They're much more expensive, require a lot more maintainence for very little improvement in temperatures. Considering how far it has to be shipped, I'd fear for it slightly in shipping.

The audio option is just the standard audio chipset instead of having an add in card. Most motherboards come with 5.1, but the motherboard you've picked will have the 7.1 Audio

I bought my system from them in April 2019 and was very happy with the way it as packaged. It was in a large cardboard box, with foam holding the PC secure , and expanding foam holding everything still in the PC.

That said, we could make your spec better (I'd also go for an air cooled or AIO build instead of a custom loop). If you give us your budget and the games you'll be playing, we'll be happy to help improve the spec for you!

Thank you all for your contribution, I understand the logic behind the audio.

Watercooling performance isn't so bad, I check on YT a lot of benchmark and it nicely improves the performance !
Like I said i'll play in 3840x1660 resolution, it should use the GPU more than the CPU and a AIO system is for CPU only :/
Reunion islands an overseas department (French island). We've tropical season so it's HOT all the time, in my room ambient temperature rises to 30°C (86°F) easily, now with a computer...

I usually play solo game like CP 2077, Shadow of TR, GoW... quite big. Of course I'll put some DLSS with/or RT in extra :p
I've spare 5 000€, and I want to stay with a configuration for many years (8,10y).

The shipping isn't so expensive, a french site : Mat***.n*t makes me pay roughly 150€ to deliver the monitor + some peripherals.
So I'm ready to disburse this amount if I'm sure to receive something worth it.

I'd still personally recommend going for an AIO. Even when gaming GPU temperatures don't get so hot it's a worry, plus with 6 fans, this cooling method should be perfectly capable. Another point- if you want to keep this PC for 8 years, you will need a graphics card upgrade in that time. If you have a custom loop, you'll need to send it back for them to replace the GPU in the loop, compared to an AIO where you can just take the current GPU out and replace it with the new one. PC Specialist also recommend getting the system serviced every year or two which will add up hugely with shipping compared to an AIO PC that will just need a dust.

For this PC, it's quite a lot cheaper than the one you specced but should perform just as well. Intel 11th gen was poor so I've gone for an AMD 5000 series PC. You could go for 12th gen, although the configurator currently lacks the cooling I'd want to put with the 12900K

Any questions, feel free to ask!

Big thanks,
On the subject of AIOvsWatercooling I discussed with a friend who've got a AIO + fans, he said me that it hasn't any kind of overheat.
"me : I want to stay with this spec for almost a decade" - I give you totally right, I'm just a fool, technological progress goes so fast, therefore upgrades are inescapable. About the needs of maintenance, isn't a big problem I think I can purge the loop and dismantle/change the componants, or asking for a technician in my country to do the job. (the fact is in my island WC ready do not exist, that's why I'm here)
But why not, I'll really think about AIO.

I don't totally share your point of view about this configuration :
- I'll only play with my computer, your spec, for me, is overrated I think. Gen9th is better for somebody who does multi-tasking or 3D editing,...
Even Gen5th can support 4K ^-^ with a good GPU of course. I'll go on Gen7th to be sure to not worry about the future and because I can pay for it.
- About your power supply... how say.... REALLY XD 1000W is too much even my spec with a 3090 doesn't reach 800W ! Joke aside, for my use 850w is a little bit much but it secures.
- Regarding to the storage, you do a nicely choice because I would have put everything on my NVMe card and isn't for the best. I'll choose something corresponding more to your opinion.

Thanks again sir, I learned a lot in this short period, except if you'll have another advice I won't ask anymore.
I've enough of confidence and knoledge now to have a proper configuration, without forget the basics, not to "set the bar too high", and implement the fact that computer need partial updates (new for me because I'm a console player).

Have a nice day and continue like this, mutual aid is important when we hesitate :)

I think the main thing I'd really think about here is general maintainence. Taking it elsewhere would void your PCS warranty and if you were to break it while trying to service it yourself, that would also void the warranty. It can be a huge faf to drain and rebuild a custom loop so it takes time where as a dusting every few months takes about 10 minutes. There's also the worry of if a custom loop were to fail, you'd again have to drain the loop to replace it where as an AIO can be swapped out in an hour or so with a youtube video to follow. Don't get me wrong, custom loops look awesome and do improve temps slightly, but especially due to your location it adds a whole lot of complexity to owning the PC. Realistically as long as your parts aren't thermal throttling, you should be good to go.

I assume this is talking about CPU's? I agree with this really, performance for gaming hardly changes between the 5600X and 5900X currently, and if you wanted to go 5600X, there wouldn't be an issue with that. It's also a let hot CPU so wouldn't need as expensive coolers to cool it. And you can go for a more budget motherboard too. I just went for the 5900X as you went for the 11900K in your spec. Although, there is the argument that as a CPU with more performance, the 5900X will last longer, where as the 5600X could start showing it's age quicker.

- About your power supply... how say.... REALLY XD 1000W is too much even my spec with a 3090 doesn't reach 800W ! Joke aside, for my use 850w is a little bit much but it secures.
Yes, arguably 1000W is too much for this spec but it'll make the PSU more efficent and allow for more upgrades over time (which you will need if you want it to last 8 years). GPU wattage requirements have only gone up so it's not a bad idea to prepare a bit for the future. Plus, It's about 30 euro's to go from 850W to 1000W now, where as it'd be 150 euro's to buy a whole new PSU and a whole lot more work to install it. Spend now to save later.

- Regarding to the storage, you do a nicely choice because I would have put everything on my NVMe card and isn't for the best. I'll choose something corresponding more to your opinion.
Little confused at this point. Are you just saying you'll go for more NVME storage?

For the power supply, I just watched a video to understand, so to simplify, a power supply is there to provide the amount of energy the computer needs.

850W or 1000W doesn't really matter, and for the price of course, it's to be done. I should be more careful and take longer to choose.

Regarding storage, like you, I will buy a hard drive for the usual files, and faster discs for games and applications.

Wooaah you took the guarantee, I read it so rarely but it's so important... I admire the hindsight you generally have, it allows you to give wise advice. And you know what, you convinced me, I'm going to buy an AIO

For the power supply, I just watched a video to figure it out, so to put it simply, a power supply is there to provide the amount of power that the computer needs.

850W or 1000W doesn't really matter, and for the price of course it has to be done. I should be more careful and take more time to choose.
Yess, a power supply only uses what it needs to (say 740W), it doesn't push 850W or 1000W to each of the components.

Regarding storage, like you, I will buy a hard drive for the usual files, and faster drives for games and applications.
Got it (y)
