First Gaming Pc Build

This is my first gaming Pc build. I wanted to make a setup that would last and could be upgraded over time. Im going to be using a monitor thats above 120hz but only probably 1080 HD. I know that makes it the weakest link. But that gives me time to save for a higher end monitor. Trying to keep it below £2500 but with high end parts.
I do want to play large games like star citizen etc. As well as standard everyday shooters.

Are you in urgent need of a build? There is some pretty significant hardware due out in the coming months (Next Gen AM5 chips & Next Gen GPUs). With a 1080p build you would save money being able to drop a level or 3 on the GPU front.

If you really need one now then I would definitely reconsider a number of aspects on the build. Specifically the GPU as there's no need for such a monster card.

Thanks for you help. I would prefer to have a build sooner than later. Do you have any recommendations for a build that is cheaper that would still hold up? I admit im not entirely sure what GPU's will get the job done.

No, just go ahead.

Down the line, you'll want to upgrade the monitor and the GPU for the latest and greatest. When that day comes, the system.... including the PSU, will have you covered.
