First Gaming PC on a budget

Hi Guys, looking to buy my first gaming PC only issue is my budget is £800 max, I already have Windows 10 so don't need to worry about that. I will be playing stuff like Fortnite, The Division 2, Civilization etc. I know I'm not going to get anything amazing for this sort of money but do you think this build would handle these games alright? If not is there anything I should change? Would appreciate any help!

That's a tough budget. I'd go for the b450 mobo to save a few quid. Might be worth a look at this review build too:

The review builds carry a discount so although the spec is fixed it is usually hard to beat in terms of price.

Thanks for the quick reply and trying to save some money! The review you just posted, would this be easy/possible to upgrade in the future?

Not ideal, no, but possible. If you plan on upgrading I'd go for a decent case and psu, since they are kind of the base. The 3450 motherboard or above should give you a good upgrade path for the cpu as the new AMD cpus due out soon will be compatible.

The Strix motherboard is a terrible purchase for this budget and is gobbling up far too much money.

An £800 PC (especially where Windows isn't required) should aim for much better than a quad core CPU and a 1650.

The review build could make sense for the price, but with £800 available you can get a system with a much better CPU and motherboard.

The review build would likely cost more in the long run, thanks to the weaker CPU and low end mobo meaning you'd want to replace those much sooner.

A faster SSD costs hardly any more and a 550W PSU could support a wider range of future GPU upgrades.

Above spec is what I would look at but I would spend the extra for the 2600X and the silver warranty.

That's a LOT of PC for the money
