Hi all,

Looking for some advice on my first gaming PC (diablo 3, SCII, BF3 etc), wanting to play at hi spec, also using for word processing and some media + home DJ mixing. Don't want to spend more than £800 pre monitor etc. Main connection will be wireless but want option to use wired ethernet in time.

This is what I have so far...

Thanks

Thanks!

Do you think it's worth getting the i5-3570 over the 3470?

Also, how much difference is the casing going to make?

Thanks v much! Repped.

Yes, it is an additional £15 and it has a higher clock speed and max turbo frequency.
Also, how much difference is the casing going to make?
Better cooling, airflow and cable management.

Thanks again - will go for the better case as recommended then and the 3570.

One last question - of the two motherboard options is there a significant/worthwhile difference? Looks pretty much finalised, probably will order today!

The 2nd one has more expansion slots as well as supporting SATA 6.0 Gb/s. If you are planning in adding an SSD in the future you may want to go with the 2nd one.
