Hi All,

This is my first PC build, I wanted to enter in at a very high end to ensure the PC stays relevant for some time.

I have a general knowledge of PC architecture and workings but I wanted a proof read to see if this could be more efficient or cheaper if possible.

To clarify, I am set on the i9-9900K and the RTX 2080 Ti as well as the SSD with add. HDD setup, anything else, please rip to shreds if necessary :)

I have that same case - it's beautiful, but it also comes with plenty of fans - and with the CPU cooler you effectively get more fans exhausting the CPU heat right out of the case, so I'd ditch the additional fans.

Is this for gaming? I ask because it is normal to have one high spec screen fro gaming on and one lower spec for emails/browsers etc while gaming. Here you two very high spec screens and I think even a 2080ti might struggle to push the pixels on two 4K screens if you are planning to game on both. If you are not planning to game on both you could save some £££ on one of them.

Also if it is just for gaming I don't think that you need the 32GB RAM, 16 would be more than enough.

I would skip the slow SSD and get a M.2 NVMe drive for your OS and main games, say a 500gb or 1tb Samsung 970 Evo plus. Also not sure you'll really need the Optane.

Do you have a budget for this build?

*Edit* Also, that HDD is quite slow, a 7200rpm one would be better. As for the cable ties, I didn't order any with mine and the case and cabling still looked really good - PCS did a great job. I've heard a lot of people on the forum say that the Windows defender is pretty good - I use that and Malwarebytes: Perhaps you could also skip the Norton. The Corsair coolers come with good paste, so I think you could skip the Mastergel also.
