For those who aren't familiar, the Sennheiser HE-1 System is considered the most premium headphone experience in existence... and it's certainly one of the most expensive at around $80,000! The competition is the Hifiman Shangri-La which is a similar setup, and costs around $50,000
There have been a couple of reviews through magazines over the years, but one of my favorite headphone reviewers on YouTube, Joshua Valour, actually got invited to a Washington dealer to film and try out the headset on location, it's quite an honour.
Obviously, I doubt any of us would ever consider anything like this, but it's well worth having a look, the build quality alone is just mesmerisingly beautful.
For those interested, these are the Hifiman Shangri-La. I have a pair of Hifiman Sundara's and they're incredible headphones for the budget. I say that as most people haven't heard of Hifiman, you wouldn't come across them in the highstreet, they're more of an audiophile brand.
