this is my first customised pc , that i'm adventuring upon ..

i'm upgrading my current pc tower to a new pc tower , however with a difference I have to transfer parts from current to new ?

how would pcspecialist handle this , if the client is not technically able in working a build and wiring etc .. ?

any obvious replies please do let me know i'm still working on my pro upgrade list .

I’m not sure I understand you, are you wanting PC Specialist to build you a system and then you add your own bits, such as hard drives, GPU etc?

If you could clarify what exactly you’re after with plenty of detail we may be able to advise.

PCS will build a configured machine for you, however they will not build any of your own components into it, the only things you can send in yourself is the case (eg if you wanted to order one they don't have in stock after you verify everything will fit)
Note: they only sell whole machines, so you cant buy without a CPU, motherboard, RAM, PSU and at least one hard drive

They do however have an open-case warranty so you can add your own stuff after you have received it, eg extra hard drives, graphics card, wireless cards, extra fans, but yeah any components not from them with the exception of the case they will not install for you.

Many people use youtube or similar to see how to install things like graphics cards, hard drives etc, I guess it depends what you were wanting to move over

Yes, as long as the case you chose had the trays for CD/DVD drives and enough bays for your hard drives. They’d build the rest of the system for you.

Do note that many cases now do not have space for a CD/DVD drive though, so you may have to do some hunting to find a case where it'd fit

Do either post you spec in this thread or another thread to check your build first, people may be able to see where you could make improvements for the same cost, and make sure you get what will actually be useful for you (you mentioned an i3 and and ASUS GPU - and that choice slightly concerns me unless I read it wrong
This thread: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...posting-collaboration-of-helpful-hints.77691/ has a bunch of useful information including how to post your spec and what details will be needed to give you useful advice for your build.

If I put anything different inside from the original build sent to me will I void the warranty ?
As long as you don't damage anything in the process your PCS warranty will be valid for all the PCS supplied components - obviously if you add your own sourced items and they die well you'd need to use their warranty from whereever you got them from.
