Hey Everyone,
I'll get straight to the point. I'm looking to buy my first ever gaming PC. I have a total budget of €3500 including PC, two monitors, dual monitor arms for my desk, keyboard, mouse, maybe a large table sized mouse mat and also maybe an APC UPS surge protection extension lead (€150). I was thinking €2500 on the PC and €1000 on everything else.
The monitors I was looking at are the AOC Q27G2U/BK Quad HD 27" 1440p x2. I think ideally I'd only buy one of these monitors and then get a cheaper second one, but I'm a sucker for symmetry and would throw up in my mouth a little every time I saw my miss matched monitors. They come to €578 total for the two. I'd be planning on also using my PS5 on a monitor whenever I play it. Monitor link below:
My primary use for the PC will be gaming. But where it gets tricky is, I'd also possibly like to stream in the future and also maybe do some online IT courses. I kind of need this PC to be an all round beef cake for what my budget allows.
I would like the Power Supply Unit to be overly capable and also for the cooling to be on the excessive side. I've heard that with both of these components you should never skimp. (Is this necessary) I'm not fussy about RGB lighting, if anything I'd like a minimalist look. I'd like it to be as quiet as possible but that being said, I'd take loud if it meant efficient cooling.
I have no clue what to be looking for when picking a case. Can all components fit any case? Are bigger cases better for cooling?
I'm looking for any and all recommendations. First and foremost, a recommended PC build? Different 1440p monitors? Dual monitor arm for my desk? Is the uninterrupted power supply extension lead overkill? I was looking at entry level Steelseries Keyboard and Mouse... are they any good?
Many thanks in advance, any help will be much appreciated.
