Really can't work this out.
I have the following:
Optimus V 13.3
4th gen i7 4900MQ
GTX 765M
16GB RAM
480 SSD
and also:
XPS 15.3
2nd gen i7 2670QM
GT 540M
16GB RAM
480 SSD
Last night i logged onto ESO beta on the Optimus and got a horrible 13 FPS on high settings. I then log into it on XPS and get 15 FPS which is still horrendous. This continues through Low, Medium, etc settings. I get a higher FPS on the XPS throughout each setting.
How is it that a 2 year old lesser spec laptop gives me slightly better/same performance.
I bought the Optimus in the hope i would be able to play ESO on high or ultra while still being portable as i knew i was able to play ESO on medium on the XPS fairly well.
All other games i've tried though have been far better on Optimus to be fair, Starcraft II, Max Payne 3, Dayz all run on top spec no problem where XPS struggles so that's why i'm confused, is the Optimus using HD4600 gpu only on ESO?? Can't see how.
