Hi, my notebook (see spec below), running Windows 10 Pro (21H1), seems to be struggling for performance in ways in never used to, plus there seems to be something up with the battery / power. In the windows event log I'm seeing power change events (on, then off) quite frequently, up to every couple of seconds. I ordered a new power AC Adapter in case it was that, but this is happening with the new one.

Are you using this with a dock by any chance? Or, are you using the USB-C port to charge it?

Thanks, looking forward to the verdict. Have a nice day off!
It wasn't a day off. On Thursdays in the winter I lead a hill walking group. ;)

I would contact PCS regarding your power issue. In your system log I came across this....

...and that would indicate that there is a hardware issue of some sort. The message does suggest that a BIOS update may be required and you'll definitely need their approval for that. This error occurs many times in your System log.

In your Application log there are several application error entries for Clevo Control Center, but if there is a hardware power issue you'd probably expect that.

I would phone PCS and talk this through with them. Make your System and Application logs available to them as well (or point them at this thread).
