Future laptops ?

Heya

Soo yea, I'm considering to buy a workstation based laptop 17'' 3d with 16 gb ram etc etc for graphics and so on - price at around 2k...

I roughtly know what I want but now new intel cpus are coming out...

Does pcspecialist has any timeline for next gen laptops?

Or should I just go with whats its now available...

I wont be buying laptop for next 2-8 weeks...

Personally I would recommend you try not to think too much about what is coming out next year, because by the time a new product is launched there will be something else planned for another future date.

Some new models are planned for April 2012 but I've heard that these have now been delayed, so it would be May or later.

I just wanted to know roughtly your timeline. I have that luck of buying stuff 2 days before new toys get released so now I can just go for the system I want and not worry about the next day changes.
